Ijazah Certification: A Path to Mastering and Teaching the Quran

The Quran Ijazah (Certification) is a respected honor that connects students through a chain of learning directly to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This certification shows that the student can accurately recite and teach the Quran following traditional rules. At our academy, we offer two Ijazah courses for students at different stages of Quran recitation and Tajweed (rules of Quran pronunciation).

• 1. Pre-Ijazah Preparation Course: For Those Ready to Perfect Quran Recitation and Tajweed

  This course is for students who have memorized most of the Quran and know the basics of Tajweed. It prepares them for full Ijazah certification by strengthening their Quran recitation skills and Tajweed understanding.

• Course Goals

  In this course, students will:Master Tajweed: Study advanced Tajweed rules with expert teachers to improve every part of their recitation.Complete Quran Memorization: Receive guidance to finish memorizing the Quran, making it easy to remember any verse. Improve Practical Skills: Practice recitation exercises and understand key concepts to build strong skills in Quran recitation. This course builds students’ confidence, preparing them for the final Ijazah course by enhancing their memorization and understanding of Tajweed.

• 2. Full Ijazah Certification Course: For Complete Quran and Tajweed Mastery

  This course is for students who have finished memorizing the Quran and fully understand Tajweed. Here, students recite the entire Quran from memory to a certified teacher, following Tajweed rules carefully. Completing this course gives students an Ijazah with a Sanad, a direct chain of learning back to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

• Course Requirements

  In this course, students will:Recite the Whole Quran from Memory: Recite each verse clearly and accurately, from beginning to end.Take a Tajweed Exam: Be tested on Tajweed to confirm correct pronunciationAfter completing the course, students receive an Ijazah certificate that qualifies them to teach the Quran and pass on their knowledge. This certificate is recognized worldwide.
